Two hungry birds, one big piece

So, this morning I joined all the bits of this together and hung it up to have a proper look.  I can't decide right now whether to leave it at this, or to border it, or to add some geese horizontally across the top and bottom.  Any thoughts on this?

It looks great, Kaja! So much progress since the last time I checked in! I love the vertical movement that the geese provide. . . not sure if the horizontal strips would change that or not. . . keep up the great work!

I must agree with Kim. Love the vertical feel of the piecing as it is. This has a nice flow to it. Your progress is quite impressive!

It is looking good. I've only been quilting a year so cannot offer help. The colours are perfect together.

I don't think it needs anything else. It works very well right now but might not if you add things...

Put it somewhere you can see it and let it sit for a day or two. In its own time it will tell you what to do - if anything.

Kaja, I know that all those birds are nuthatches, but guess what the quilt reminds me of? Lines of sandpipers running along the shore as the waves rush in. It's really beautiful! You can't go wrong with any of the choices you mentioned.

I love this just the way it is. Really a neat piece!

As always, your quilts intrigue me immensely. This is another wonderful one. I do believe in folding it away for awhile if you're not happy. I usually see a solution when bringing it to light again.
