So, looks as if Two Hungry Birds is done, for now at least. I know where I want to start my next piece, but am just slightly freaked out (as I've probably said before) at having a queue of tops waiting to be quilted. Well not really a queue: just 2, and I know there are people out there with waaaay more than that, but it's not what I'm used to.
My very temporary way of dealing with this is to take a tiny pause and play around with a couple of things for a few days, instead of launching straight into the next top. Won't be enough to let me catch up but I might at least close the gap.
This is the beginning of something I have been talking about with my sister - not sure where it's going to go, not sure even if it's going to go somewhere.
The little orange scraps belong to something else, but I liked how they looked when they landed on the denim.

I am almost done hand quilting one thing ...then I put it off due to not liking to do the binding, lol. Looks like you are thinking about doing a jeans quilt of some sort ?:)
Oh yes, the orange scraps against the denim are wonderful! I think you're on a roll!
