How high the moon

It felt a bit like cheating to use this quilt for more than one post, but on reflection I decided that since I had spent a solid 5 months of work on it, it could jolly well earn its keep.

So here it is nearly finished...

and in the quilting hoop.

I promise to post the finished top next time!

  2. This is such a fun bright quilt, and since it took that long, it certainly deserves more than one post. Your quilting is lovely. How long does it normally take you to quilt something this size?

  5. I like that hand quilting! I used to hand quilt every quilt but started to like the effects of machine work. Now I am nervous to over use my hand and hurt it, since I love hand piecing so much! I want to start including a bit of hand quilting on my mostly machine quilted work so thanks for reminding me Kaja. LeeAnna

Feel free to comment away! I read everything and welcome all feedback. I seem to be getting a lot of comments from no-reply bloggers at the moment - if you don't get a response, that will be why.
