This one is done for now. I added one last row and then one tiny column up the right-hand side. It looks slightly lopsided in the photos because the child holding up the left hand side is taller than the one on the right, but the quilt itself is a little more regular.
I am really very happy with how this has turned out, so feel I have ticked the Positive Thinking box very nicely. I have also finished the unblogged quilt, which will be packed up and posted in a day or two, so hooray for finishes all round. A brief pause, then on to the next one.

I really like how this one turned out--especially the white backgrounds on those bird blocks--somehow they just lead your eyes about--really nice work hugs, Julierose
Congratulations on both finishes!
Good job getting this one finished. It turned out lovely and will even be more beautiful once it is quilted.
Looks great! You should name it Positive Thinking!

Your masterful mix of colors and values works so well. The bird prints are delightfully sprinkled across the surface. I like the way you used your solids to create ladders and scaffolds. Everything really works well. Congratulations, Kaja.
You did it again! I am just always amazed how your quilts come together. You make Improv look so easy and I know it can't be (things never are) but you really have a knack. I think my favorite element is the houses. The 60 degree triangles make me thing of a banner like you see at an outdoor fair and then the houses are little booths with items for sale.
There is so much visual interest in this lovely quilt. You truly 'do' Improv wonderfully. Love those little bird blocks and the houses. Another fabulous quilt imagined by clever you.
I adore the happy vibe so many of your quilts end up with. You are a master at using all the fabric bits and pieces to make a quilt sing!
The birds are delightful! Loved following along. It still escapes me - the 'how to get this look' with my own quilts!
A stunning creative quilt - Positive Thinking is the best title for this one I think. Congratulations on your finished top.
I really really like this - just enough structure for it to make perfect sense but still full of quirkiness and personality. Well done!
It's wonderful! Enough going on to keep the eyes moving but not so much as to be confusing. Congratulations!
