Small decisions and an extra lighthouse

I'm still mostly just making HST's but since no one seemed to mind last time I shared stuff just laid out on the floor, I'm gong to do it again.  The first one shows the second lighthouse (at the moment I think there will be one more).  What looks like a big mess of white fabric is actually me wondering about changing the direction of some strips and what that might look like.

The second picture gives more an idea of where I think I have decided to head, and, in my own defence, also contains quite a lot more actual sewing.

With the added white, those HSTs now look like pennants, sailboats and waves. Love how they rotate between those visions. A third lighthouse sounds good. I love these two... and your previous lighthouse quilt.

The lighthouses are lovely and I am crazy about all those different blue fabrics. I am still feeling awful so no sewing has happened for me.

The game is on. I love the blues and the contrasts you've chosen so far.

I like it. all the different size hst turned to look like waves is very effective!

Love it! Just a thought but don't some flags spell out messages? Wonder if you could use the hsts in that way!! Maybe 'ship ahoy' in flags lol

Oh Kaja, I've so missed you! It's been very inspiring catching up with all your posts today. You've been such a busy, busy bee, but I shouldn't have expected anything else :) Congratulations on all the 'hundreds' of finishes you've racked up recently. I really love the way 365 circles turned out and all the piecing you've got going on. This one is wonderful - and I listen the shipping forecast too, such a gentle rhythm and intriguing names; it reminds me of when I lived on a boat as a student. Oh happy days...not :D!! xx
