But nonetheless I am making good progress and the end of this quilt, while not exactly imminent, is definitely within sight. I am working my way around the outer edges now, and know from experience that the closer I get to the finish, the more hours I will put in. I can't go faster, so I have to do more; sort of impatient patient stitching!
After a bit of a break I am linking up with Kathy today for Slow Sunday Stitching.

Lovely circles, lovely stripes!
Love your bright colors! What a great project for January, well if you are in a cold climate like I am.
I know what you mean about being willing to put in more work when the end is in sight. I love seeing your progress and the bright colors are delightful on this winter day for me.
Within sight is a good stage to get to. Keep on working, you will get there soon!
I understand the need to get closer and closer to the finish. Not to race, but more to see the product. I love that moment when I shake the completed quilt out and see it completed for the first time. In fact, I do that after every step along the way. I am a whole picture kind of gal, so I take time to stop and appreciate the whole project no matter what state it's in. I can't wait to see that for this one. Quilty 365 was a great idea for you!
Those shot cottons look wonderful in this photo. It's a great project to take your time with!
LOL impatient patient... love the oxymoron!
Enjoy every slow stitch on this masterpiece!
Thanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching!
Good use of the stripe fabrics.
Beautiful colors!
I love the striped circles appliquéd to different solid colored squares.
Oh, I absolutely love this one with the color names stamped on it...and the stripes...and the color combo...and the hand stitching...and the circles...
Those striped circles are very pretty.
Lovely, lovely. I'd forgotten the text you stenciled on it. It adds so much character.
I may have said before that I love this quilt to bits!! The striped fabrics just glow on the solid backgrounds.
Wonderful quilt! So close to the end....
It is beautiful. Greetings
I love the way this is looking Kaja - and I can just see your hands working in a blur to get it done! Won't be long now :) x
This cheers up the whole world. I just love the zing this has.
It does make you want to just wrap it round you - that one!
Beautiful slow stitching, Kaja!
One of my favourites Kaja , this and the blue circles
Looking lovely
Very pretty! It looks so cuddly already, I can see why you'd get impatient for the end!
