A quick peek at Little Elephant,

Not much achieved this week, or not in hand stitching terms.  One of the downsides of working on lots of things at once is that I may have done quite a bit, but if the effort is spread around several projects, none of them seem to have progressed that much.  I'm not sure this way of working suits me, but am sticking with it for now and will try not to whinge!

Anyway, here's an update on Little Elephant.

This is how much I've done.

And this, top right-hand corner, is what I've got to go (plus the borders). In the normal course of things I would be hopeful of finishing in the next month (ish) but as it stands, who knows?

I love hand quilting long straight lines. Did you mark them or are you doing it by sight?
What a fun project to work on... so much to see!

I can't work at one thing at a time either. This one is a really happy project though so maybe you can stick with it a little longer. I love seeing hand quilting.

Oh this is a first time I've seen this one. I love it and your color choices. I really like to work on lots of different projects but you are correct...seems like finishes are few and far between. Good luck...you'll have a finish before you know it. I'm looking forward to it.

Little Elephant is looking good. Just the right amount of quilting. I, too, love your straight lines and also wonder whether you created them them by eye or with tape. It's so good to get an update on this lovely quilt.

Love the texture! I was curious about whether you mark your stitching lines or not myself.:)

Little Elephant is looking great! You are making headway. Besides, we get to see all the projects grow and advance a little at a time, which adds up to a great deal. (Especially if we're keeping track.)

I like Preeti's reminder about enjoying the process - which is your own advice too Kaja. Little Elephant looks great and all that lovely hand stitching must truly be a balm for the spirit! When it is finished, you will have a great story to tell.
