Like buses, my finishes are all coming at once. I have a finished quilt waiting to be photographed and this top too has gone as far as it is going to go. It is a fair size - I think about 65" - and , more to the point, I am down to tiny scraps and in some cases there's not even that much left.
Indoor pictures skew things, but my enterprising sister used the prop for the clothes line to mend a shed, so this is my only option until I acquire a replacement prop. In reality it is not so wonky, just marginally longer than it is wide. These colours are still much prettier than those I am normally drawn too but overall I nonetheless rather like how this had ended up. The touches of much deeper red, burgundy and blue are enough to lift it for me, so I'm feeling pretty happy with it in the end.
Now off into the drawer it goes and I have to start thinking about the next project, though first I have a quilt to sandwich.

Even if I would not say this is a typical Kaja Quilt I recognize your sense for color. Beautiful combination. Perhaps it is the symmetry that for me seems to be unusual. I like it a lot. :-)
Congratulations for getting this top done. I love all the different elements and fabrics. I am looking forward to seeing the quilt you have done.
I agree that the deeper red/burgundy and darker blue really help make this quilt. Sounds like you have thinking to do on what to quilt and piece next.
I like this one A. Lot! To me, the symmetry is happening, but, as you say, those little extra rogue touches are endearing!
I love how it turned out. The color combination is very soothing and I like how you put all the bits together. Nice job!
a very peaceful quilt

This turned out so nice. It's such a different color scheme than you usually use but it is very satisfying. So great to have things turn out like that.
Just lovely xoxo
Maybe more symmetrical than you usually do, but still unmistakably you. I really like how my eyes want to rove around.
Congratulations on meeting your challenge. I still need to make an asymmetrical one. Until you wrote, I hadn't realized how symmetrical my quilts are.
You are great at pushing values in the same color family. This top reminda me of some antique British quilts I've seen.
I love the way this turned out. I really like medallion quilts and this one is so lively. One of my favorites.
