School's out here, so my sewing is slowing right down. I'm not complaining. In fact I'm pretty fed up that our summer break now lasts just over four weeks - it's just way, way too short.
We're off for a couple of weeks tomorrow too, so piecing will stop and probably blogging too, though I am travelling with quilting. Last year I took a quilt and a hoop but left the box with thread, scissors, needles, thimble behind. Fingers crossed I do better this year. I am not expecting much by way of internet for the first week (going on last year's experience) but may try to stick up some pretty pictures at some point. In the meantime, here's where I'm up to.

I'm glad you are getting a break, too. Enjoy that vacation (with or without quilting)!
Enjoy your vacation time--
i like those flying geese border colors--really nice how this is coming together...hugs, Julierose
Loving your latest project! Enjoy your break away.
Enjoy your vacation! Quilt looks pretty.
Long time lurker, but felt time I left some feedback. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy following along watching your quilts emerge into being. Your ability to just somehow always get it right, is inspiring. Thanks for the eye candy, the inspiration and ongoing education in how to undertake improv quilting.
Have a good break Kaja!! Love the latest update photo of your quilt-in-the-making, keep safe.
Is this top almost done? What size will it end up? I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
Oh, I am loving this arrangement! Have a lovely little holiday.
Have an enjoyable vacation. It’s such a special time to spend with your loved ones.
The quilt is coming along beautifully. I like the way e flying geese panels are not connected between side. Symmetrical but piques my interest. A small detail perhaps, but it adds sophistication.
I kinda knew that you were going to do some flying geese on the other two sides, but I didn't predict that the background fabric would be a change-up. Love how you worked so well with symmetry but you still managed to keep the surrounds not quite perfectly matched. So subtle yet so you. Love it!:)
Hi Kaja, have a wonderful vacation with your family!
And like Ann I like your Flying Geese strips. Very attractive up and down the sides and set in blue, top and bottom.
See you soon!
That's true, four weeks is really way too short. I don't know how long ours are here, but I remember three months off.
