Not rushing - or not much

Slow going now.  Lots of interruptions and more than a little downright indecisiveness. I am trying to stay with this quilt and not rush it just because I want to start something new.  And yes, I could start the next thing before this is done, but I have learned my lesson the hard way and will not be trying any multi-tasking.

Anyhow, I have added the bottom strip and have started trying to figure out the right hand side: one more column and then this will be at a width I'm happy with.  At least, for once, I am in no danger of running out of fabric.

I really like how each column you add echoes something in the middle of the quilt...very nice work hugs, Julierose

I'm really enjoying your process, too. I was looking at how you repeat certain colors--like the blue and orange--and how perfectly those repeated colors draw the eye all over the quilt. It's amazing to me and magical!

You're so very close! I hope that the last side comes together easily enough and my guess is you'll be working on something new before you know it. :)

Such a fun eclectic design If you aren't going to run out of fabric, does that mean it could become larger than one more row on the right side? I have an old piece of fabric that looks like the kind of thing that might have been made into curtains in the 1950's. I keep thinking about it as you add each new element on this quilt. You are so creative.

So fun to watch this come together! I love the birds and houses together. These kind of quilts can be so slow to put together sometimes. I understand your frustration, but good of you to keep going. You're so close!

No, multi-tasking doesn't work so well for me either! Learned the hard way! hahaha!

Maybe having too much fabric has been a problem and giving you too many choices. LOL!! You are almost at the finish line so go for it!

It’s been a pleasure to watch you put this together. Good job for sticking with it. I’m learning to solo task these days, too. Much better.
