All finished.
A close up.
Binding.
And a shot of the back, as it blows away from me.

75"square.
Quilt and backing made from stash fabrics. I can't identify them all but there is some Oakshott (that bronze colour solid), some grunge (the blue-y bits), some Lotta Jansdotter (the black and white stripe), some Janet Clare, I think some Lecien Japan...
Wadding is Sew Simple Eco Blend (70/30 cotton/polyester, all recycled), which I toy with occasionally as an alternative to wool.
Quilted with Aurifil Lana, which is a rather lovely 12wt wool thread. It's the first time I have used this and I would be happy to use it again.
I pieced this what seems like ages ago, between 9th October and 14th December 2015. Okay, that doesn't just seem like ages, it is ages.
Quilting started 12th February, finished 13th April 2017.
Some of you may remember I went off this for a while and it missed it's allotted turn for quilting as a result. Happily I like it now!

So glad that this quilt is back in your favour - it is gorgeous. I love the mix of fabrics and would gladly have this on my bed .......
ohhh I love this - I especially love how the solid fabric on the front creates accent points and movement. Its Especially effective!
this is a lovely quilt--I really like the softer colors blending so well congratulations hugs, Julierose
What a beautiful finish!! I love the colours and randomness of blocks, with the addition of those circle blocks! It just all works beautifully together.
Congrats on a lovely finish! It's so soft and cozy looking :)
Superb!

Congrats on another wonderful finish. It looks reversible too. I love how you have hand quilted it and thanks for the tip on the thread. I also like the color scheme and the bits of roses. And the letters in the binding add some unexpected fun.
Beautiful! I like how the brown contrast with the rest.

Very eye-catching! It has such a powerful mood!
Beautiful. I like how you balanced the strong earth tone colors with black and white. The quilting looks wonderful. Congratulations on the finish!
Yay! Congratulations on a beautiful finish.
Wow this is gorgeous! It turned out beautifully. The color choices, all the layout choices, the hand quilting, everything. 2015 is not old. Your quilts take an average of two years to make, and since you are hand quilting you can easily take that amount of time. Wanda from Exuberant Quilter just finished something she started in the 60's.
I think it is wonderful! And I like the clothesline photos with quilts moving about in the wind. Congratulations on the finish - now you can use and enjoy it.
Congrats on a lovely finish! This is a very interesting quilt - lots to see in this one! I like the addition of the curves to the squares!
A wonderful finish! I love the colour palette, calm & very pretty with those little pops of roses!
Great finish - congratulations, it's a beauty. The back of the quilt is also a winner, not a surprise to know I love the pops of the KF fabric in there!
Love the mix of subtle and pops of colours in this one. The binding is my favourite. A really wonderful finish, Kaja!

Very beautiful finish, love the subtil colours & design, bravo.
Well done you! It's such an interesting quilt; lots of different pieces to look at. Very subtle and aptly named.
Wonderful. Love the splash of orange here n there and the quilts mellowed whilst waiting its turn lol
This looks like the *perfect* quilt to snuggle up with! I love the mix of fabrics and the curves. Great job!
Congratulations on a beautiful finish of a long-time WIP! Do you have a recipient in mind for this one?
Awesome! Love the free spirit in this quilt. A good cuddling quilt.
This is so very lovely, Kaja. You do such beautiful work! I am in awe of your tiny, perfect stitches. Many hours of practice, no doubt.
Simply Gorgeous! I was lovely the close-up pictures of your stitching as you went along. This one is probably pure delight to look at in person!
It's as gorgeous as I expected. One thing I didn't realize is that the quilting lines run horizontally and vertically. I guess I missed that, but now I can see why you chose to do it this way: it adds yet one more layer of interest. Love it!
I like it a lot. It is interesting to see at the backside how you quilted it. This changing of directions makes it very vivid.
Love this quilt. I agree about the Aurifil Lana wool thread.
Congratulations! It turned out so good! The solid gold fabric give the quilt a fractured look to me. Wonderful finish!
Lovely colours in this quilt and it looks very warm and cozy. You must be a very fast quilter, two months doesn't seem long at all to quilt a quilt that size. Fun back too, makes it reversible.
