234 little squares to go

Actually, I just made 234 up.  I know I have fewer than 30 of the 9 patches in this quilt left as I only counted yesterday, but now I can't remember exactly how many.  234 is in the ball park though so I'm calling it poetic licence.

Since I've either finished, or almost finished my most recent piecing, I'm going to take a week's pause, give some thought to a couple of other projects I have on the go and try to get a good chunk of this out of the way.

As an almost-retired English and for a while French teacher, I give you poetic license to say whatever you want on your blog. lol Like anyone needs any kind of license to put stuff "out-there." It's pretty safe to say our blogs are not the stuff of harm. If only the internet had more crafty blogs and fewer of the other (it occurs to me I don't really have a word for all the other stuff). Wow!

Your quilt is coming along beautifully. Those colors always seem calming...perfect for a cozy quilt. Enjoy your your week with lots of slow stitching.

I've realized that your habit of taking a pause between projects is a really good one! It is so helpful to clear your mind and refocus. I hope I'll remember!

Enjoy your quilting. I love this quilt, and it's looking awesome. :D

Well on the way with the quilting. I do do like the slow process of quilting, most of the time. love the colours.

234 sounds an awful lot when you see the actual figure down on paper!

Interesting quilt, I like the improv style and tried it myself but got stuck. So I admire you for making such interesting and lovely colored quilts. greetings

You have made great progress on this quilt! I will say you have over 1200 squares to begin with so you are almost done! LOL!!

It's good to give a good chunk of time to a project, especially when it's hand quilting this wonderful quilt :)
