Playing with colour

Like lots of other people I love a good play on Play Crafts Palette Builder software, so the linky party at A Quarter Inch from the Edge gives me the perfect excuse to share one or two of my favourite pictures:

Camellias, just past their best;

and this one.  The photo is of a piece of fabric that in real life looks nothing like this - the light was all wrong, but I love the way the colours have come out.  A happy accident!

Love your camelias... they look so much like the peonies we grow. I had to google to see if they were related. :) Thanks for linking up!

Your camellia color palette is so beautiful Kaja! And I always love autumn colors!

I love both these photos/palettes! The bottom palette is particularly warm and rich!

Love the colors of the camelias.....I just bought some solids in that beautiful pink (and a few other colors).

Oooh, those earthy colours are heavenly! (Heaven and earth, ummm, ok!) Will you use the palettes to design a quilt, or are you just 'playing'?

well that was fun! I went to the link and downloaded two pictures. The palette builder ignored the red flowers in the green leaves, and sorted greens, browns and grays I didn't even see. Left out the red altogether! What fun! Thanks Kaja
