Locking, locking

No blogging from me for over a week, because every time I turned my laptop on, I got about 30 seconds and then the screen would tell me it was locking.  It's pretty tricky to fix something if you can only do it in 30 second bursts.   Funnily enough my car charger went on the blink at the same time.  Turns out the way to fix that is to turn off the power, unplug the ethernet cable, wait 5 minutes and plug it all back in.  Sound familiar?

Anyhow, just as inexplicably as it started to play up, the laptop has now decided to behave, so here I am again. Turns out I've been doing plenty of sewing, though I can't quite remember how it all went, so here are a few photos, probably in the right order, to bring things up to date.

So far, so good.

So far, very good! Much better to spend the time sewing than on the computer anyway. I'm glad the issue seems to have resolved itself without huge expense.

It's so frustrating when computer gremlins take over!!
You have made a lot of progress on this one...

I don't have a computer at home. I have been having issues at work the my Excel freezing up. I have a lot of things going on with my job so at times I have many Excel, pdf, and websites open at the same time. Switching back and for can cause a freeze up. I then have to close everything and open files back up. Ugh!!!! I absolutely love the long pieced bits with the chunky tumbler sections thrown in! What a great combination!

They say computers save us so much time... I'm not so sure! Love where this one is headed!

I like the plaids and solid mix and lots of possibilities for arranging your units. Lovely fun going on.
I'll be checking back for more.

It is looking wonderful! BAH HUMBUG on computers that misbehave.

I sympathize with your frustration about the computer. Mine is a pill, as Grandma used to say, as well.

Oh yes, I do like how this quilt is coming along and so pleased that your computer decided to play nicely, eventually!!

I'm fond of blue and brown together. It always surprises me. And a medallion. A perfect arrangement for these interesting units.
We've been busy this week. My computer is working fine but the TV keeps locking up even though I only want to watch the news and baseball.
