Shuffling and tinkering

Halfway there, I think.  I had this chunk you see all sewn together by the end of my last session and had laid out the left hand column.  I still liked it this morning, so have sewn it on (making one change which you can see in the second photo).
I'm still making blocks, but slowly now, trying to keep an eye on how many I will actually need.  And there's a lot of tinkering going on.  This is one version, though I can see lots on the right hand side I don't like.  So I continue shuffling things around, trying to balance out all the different elements in a pleasing way.

I really like how the color values you are using keep me moving around and exploring the piecing!

I think the fabric combination is so interesting. The orange jumps at you first, but then I see the strips, then the teal, etc. There is a lot to look at!

Nice tinkering and happy summer, Thursday was the first day.
I see summer happening in your arrangement.
Life and movement.

Like the balance of the brown golden tones as against the teals . Looks well

I am really enjoying the strong colors intermixed with the more subtle choices. I'm sure it's more of a challenge in the shuffling and tinkering than we even realize!

Loving what you're doing. I think I'm finding different size blocks but it could be your shuffling around. Especially loving the leaves!
