There's not much to say about this. Looking at last week's photos I found myself jotting down a few notes - a new habit for me, but it's an improvement on thinking stuff and then completely forgetting. "More brown strips", "more leaves on green", "couple of brown squares", that sort of thing. Today, I obeyed my own prompts and made some more blocks with a brown strip, some more leaves, though not all on a green background...you get the picture.
There are four chunks sewn together: two rectangular and two nine patches. Next I want to make more rectangles and sew more chunks - I don't want to end up with loads of little blocks I have no home for.

The rectangular pieces add a nice change and variety. I like your idea to take notes for yourself about where to work next. Sounds like a great way to work!
I see you've added some chocolate flowered fabrics--I like those a lot..

Good progress.
You're jotting down notes!
That's a good idea, it helps the creative process I think.
When I write down notes or draw pictures it helps clear the 'rubble'
and of course it's good backup for mental hick ups.
Notes. Writing notes is good. I was just thinking that this morning - I need to take notes. I make a plan, think I will remember the next day, and then have to rethink a plan all over again, which tends to take up a lot of the sewing time.
Any progress is good progress! I do my best thinking in the shower and by the time I get out those ideas and thoughts seems to be hard to hold on to. It's a great idea to jot them down as you are doing.
I am loving watching this come together. I am not a good improvist (is that a word?) so enjoy watching people who are fearless at it. Love the colors you have chosen for this project.
This is so beautiful. No matter what you put together I seem to love it. It's your good sense of colour Ithink.
I like what's happening here!
I do like those leaf blocks! It's an interesting mix.
Lots of energy in this piece already!
