Last Sunday I showed my binding for Two Hungry Birds, all nicely coiled and ready to go. What happened next? Not all that much, I'm afraid. So, having machined the front of it on this morning, my task for this Sunday afternoon is (again) hand stitching down the back.
Hopefully I won't still be doing this next Sunday!

LOL and hopefully I won't be doing mine next Sunday either...we're both binding today : )
Sometimes life gets in the way of stitching! Hope you manage to get it done today!
This rings a bell for me. I stitched the binding on two quilts a few weeks ago. One got stitch d but the other is still waiting. Another frog to eat.
Woohoo... the birds are done and being bound :)
Very exciting finish coming up!
Enjoy!
Funny comments above...I am enjoying some binding stitiching too....you'll get it done...no worries.
Binding means it is almost finished! Enjoy your stitching.
Oh that is great progress! I hope you enjoy the final stages of hand sewing this quilt. :)
I am stitching binding today as well. I won't be finished with mine today though. Enjoy your stitching.

Enjoy the process, however long it takes.
I can't think of a nicer way of spending a Sunday, knowing that at the end of the day you'll have a finished quilt. Probably ;) Looking forward to seeing some photos of the finished quilt THIS WEEK, haha!!! Hope you had a great weekend x
Too funny! That is the good thing about quilts and fabrics... they sit patiently until we are able to get to them.
I take my time with the binding - not my favourite part of the process and quilts have been known to sit there for a while looking at me waiting for the final touch!
It's called Slow Sunday Stitching for a reason!!
I love the binding part of quilting because I know I'm really close to a finish.
Hope to see a finish soon!
Awww, I must be the only one NOT binding! Well, it's Tuesday now, but I wasn't binding on Sunday either. I'm getting close, though. Maybe tomorrow. I hope you finish soon and post photos of Little Birds all bound up!
LOVE this picture. It looks wonderful.:)
