Second wall, second go

I've been back in my boxes and pulled a few more fabrics - more blues to balance out all the yellow-y stuff. I think I might still need something much darker and/or much lighter in there but I reckon I could make a start with these and add that in when it needed to be there.  But I still don't know where I'm starting from.  I think something is taking shape slowly in the back of my head, but we shall see.  In the meantime I'm managing to keep busy with the rest of life!

Oh, I like the addition of more blues!

This is intriguing! I agree with Yvonne too. Isn't it kind of a pain when your real life interrupts your creative life?! A pain that cannot be avoided though...

Love it! I'm wondering about black, white, maybe bright pink??? This is going to be a fun quilt.

I'm liking the green tones in these picks. How about a teeny bit of dark purple?

Kaja, I love how we all can enjoy the play of colors put together nowadays that we would not have mixed fifteen years ago. The blues you picked are great - they range toward aqua and look great with the olive and leaf greens.

I think we have gotten braver Kaja and manufacturers have too. When I think back to the 80s and 90s, the color choices tend to be so constrained. As quilters today, we have a lot more fun at our fingertips.

Serial commenting here. Did you notice how I thought of the 80s and 90s as "fifteen years ago"? LOL
