Here I go again, maybe

Time to start something new.  I have two or three ideas wandering about my head, but also need to do another wall piece.  Now, I don't really know what I'm going to do with this, but of all the things I could do now, this may well be the one that I can do completely from stash, so I've done a first pull of fabrics, which looks like this.

I know this isn't quite right:  too many of the ochre/mustard-y fabrics; not everything here can go in together and I would probably not use all those Doe ones at once either.  But it's a starting point, so I will look at it for a few days, maybe take some stuff out, maybe add some then see how I feel.  It would help if I could decide what I'm doing with them though!

I would use every single on of those fabrics! I thinks you have something good going on right here. It looks like a modern quilt pattern. Can't wait to see more.

yes, think what shape you'll use this time.. Is it a component of the last rock wall, a piece of that one leading you to this one like we thought we'd do? Do you want background? Would a background repeating negative space do it? Seems like you need a zinger. If you continue with squares of some kind the fabric with squares is a great addition. Sometimes when I am deciding how to proceed I choose a mood I want. I sketch out 8 to 10 ideas. You've probably got a lot of rock wall ideas already in your head. I do. LeeAnna

All those ochre/mustard-y fabrics really appeal to me Kaja and I would be getting sooo excited if I pulled this combination. Judy is right - they all look great together. And you know how much I love that Lotus leaf fabric.

Like I really know what I am talking about, lol, but I think just add one more maybe solid that is a contrast. I think your fabrics are great with lots of texture and pazazz, so when do we get to see more?lol I also love the Lotus leaf and the black background with the bright flower, but the rest are great too.

I like it. All those sandy colors remind me of a wall by the sea. Even the plants look kind of aquatic, I think... Or it's possible I could just have lake on the brain after this weekend.
