and once they are on, Little Elephant will be ready to join the queue for quilting.
I've never had a queue for quilting before. I need to finish my as-yet unblogged quilt, then Charley is next in line, then this one. It's funny, but since I decided I didn't care that I was slow, I seem to be getting faster.

I really love the overall look in you choice of colors. They are so much details to look at in that quilt.
This quilt looks so amazing!!! The pattern, the colors ... just everything. I absolutely love it!
I love your wonky stars - and the rest of it :)
Those borders are going to look fabulous on the star spangled quilt!
I understand your feelings about the stars: I did the same thing with fleur de lis appliques....burned out and walked away. The quilt is so cute and colorful. I agree with Chantal....there's so much happening that my eye automatically moves around the quilt. Some little cutie will be fully entertained for a long while.
Oh my gosh Kaja - it's really awesome to see it all together like that!
This looks fantastic, Kaja. I can't decide which I like best: the circles, the animals, the stars or the long strips. They make my eyes move around. I like your decision to put less red at the top; it gives more "weight" to the bottom.
Very pretty. I love the colors.
Wow! I love the way this has evolved. One elephant was a very small starting point. Keep this one in the family. S ma
Love it! The colours are spectacular! Cannot wait to see it finished. Stunning!
This quilt is really fun! Is it from a pattern, or did you design it yourself?
Haha I know what you mean. So many wonky Stars, lovely
I like that you need to really look at it, love all the different stars
It puts me in the mind of a crazy quilt...but it's not so crazy...it's stunning!
I'm happy to have seen your progress on your gorgeous quilt. Now, I'm wondering how you will quilt it...
Yes, I still like them, just don't want to make any more for a bit!
Love the border you have made! Can't wait to see your progress on all the quilts you have in the works!
