Changing my mind

I don't have a lot to show.  Indeed I don't have much to say for myself, but am still struggling with rhythm, so here I am posting regardless.  I am still playing.  My bits could be tulips.

but I think probably not this time.  So I made this.
But then I unpicked it.  I like these shapes a lot but need to figure out how to use them in a way that feels like me.

Now the teachers are on strike so school is closed and I have a load of work.  Maybe next week will bring clarity.

I am so drawn to the dusty pinks and reds in this palette. I'm sure the pieces will talk to you and tell you what they want to become eventually. May your workload ease and clarity be on the horizon.

I love them both, but if I know you, you're going to do something to totally amaze me. Love how your mind solves these sorts of issues.:)

I quite like the sashing separating the curves, then again I can see where you're going if you add to them separated and have tulips, I shall watch out for your next post!

You are allowed to change your mind as many times you want to! I enjoy seeing your process to get to what looks like you.

fractured tulips? (offset halves) or perhaps the oval that you unpicked but disjointed instead of balanced? Have fun wiggling the bits about (and hopefully the strike settles sooner instead of later).

I appreciate any post of any changes or thoughts as you go along. It's like being along side trying to solve the mystery of what quilt do these pieces contain. keep 'em coming!

Have fun with these elements, it's early days yet.

This is a difficult time. Unpicking is worse than anything except accepting a design you don't like. I keep seeing horns in your shapes. Not sure if they are cattle horns or those Byzantine horn carvings.
You'll figure it out.
I'm sorry the strike keeps your kids at home while you have work projects.
