Starting as I mean to go on

I sneaked this out of the box for just a couple of hours, but long enough to add a column down the left-hand side and a wee strip across the bottom.

I love watching your quilts evolve, like chapters in a story.

That is really charming. I love the asymmetry of it and the play between houses and birds!

You always amaze me. Love seeing how this is coming together! Would love to take a peak inside your head some day while you are creating. All the details are just making the birds pieces sing.:)

Garden Birds in the Suburbs - ish lol

Looking great, do like to see birds in amongst the assortment, they add life with implied or imagined song and movement : )

This is growing beautifully and I still cannot get over those wee houses, I just love them, how big are they Kaja?

I like both additions! The third strip of birds adds a nice balance. Like they do in decorating, odd number look better than even numbers of objects. The wee strip at the bottom is perfect! I am loving the way you are putting all of these elements together.

I got behind on my blog reading with having company.

This comes out very well. I couldn't have imagined what you will do with these birds. A new dimension. Very nice.
