Another day's work...

Just a few quick shots of what I've been playing around with.

Thinking about ways of filling in the spaces between the big blocks and also pondering the questions of what needs to go on vertically and how many triangle bits I can bring myself to make.

I've now got this bit in the bottom left-hand corner, though as it happens that's not where it's going to end up, just where I had floor space.

Linking up with Linda at Kokaquilts and JulieLou for sew stitch snap share.

I like where the filling in thoughts are going. The triangles add such nice movement.

I love the colours you are working with!

I love your colour palette, I would be avoiding anything with triangles (obviously not my strongest point with quilting). Thanks for linking to Sew, Stitch, Snap, Share.

I like those triangle bits...they are quite restful.

The aqua background on the triangle strips makes a nice variation from the light blue. Quietly different.

The pops of red among the blues, aquas and greys are doing double duty offering contrast and energy. I think you have the balance of fabrics just right. Calming and restful as others have said, but also enough energy to move the eye and keep things interesting. Don't forget to toss a few triangles up top :) they will keep things connected. (As if you need advice from me!)
