It's growing slowly: I have a load of separate chunks made. Some will make it into the quilt, some will probably be taken to pieces, or chopped up and made into different blocks. Joining Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday and Sew Fresh Quilts for Let's Bee Social.
These are looking great. If I understand your process correctly, you are making various 'chunks' of a quilt and then arranging them together later. Some may make the quilt while others may not. I think this sounds like a great way to play with the colors, fabrics and piecing options. I choose to move towards play and away from planning. Thanks for sharing.
That's it exactly. Once I've got some chunks, like the top picture, that I'm happy with I start to think about how to pull them all together. Sometimes that's easy, sometimes I get stuck there for a while (that's where the discarding/mad chopping and reworking comes in). I plan to keep posting as this one grows. I'm glad you came back to look - thanks.
Feel free to comment away! I read everything and welcome all feedback. I seem to be getting a lot of comments from no-reply bloggers at the moment - if you don't get a response, that will be why.
