Even if there is a dark-light contrast it seems so soft and warm. Perhaps I will copy your small squares for my quilt. Hopefully you've also found a little time to work more magic with your quilt.Mystic Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13233427034920359604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569814896996066785.post-13605546511919052542020-02-22T19:34:00.336+00:002020-02-22T19:34:00.336+00:00Love how this is progressing! And that water - we live near the Mississippi (20 minutes) and our son lives much closer -- it is just above flood stage now and expected to rise/fall several more times this spring. We have lived through many storms but they do seem to be getting worse every year.
At least you can work on your quilt. It looks better every time you post. I love your use of clothing and the colors and prints we actually wear.
And aren't we lucky to have floor tiles! So helpful in sizing a quilt. I am glad to know you are not in danger of flooding, but looking at those pictures I would not have guess that! I saw on the news about the flooding in Wales. To have your home flooded is a nightmare. The weather where I live has been mild this winter. We have had 50 days above average temperatures. I have a feeling it is going to be a summer with lots more bugs.patty a.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01861433552460661701noreply@blogger.com
