It's hard to believe fall is nearly a week away, but we can really feel the light changing here. I put my border and corner blocks on my improv project today, and thought what a minkee backing might do to that shiny, busy quilt top. I can see myself hunkered down under it on a snowy night looking at all the pieces, and remembering where I was while piecing it. I've also found myself thinking about some sewing projects for evenings while we sit and spend a little time together. Usually we watch one show before we're both asleep, but plugging away at a quilt helps keep me going. Around here, winter is a season of rest unless we have a lot of snow to deal with. I'm ready for it.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02834496271292973632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569814896996066785.post-10461208144614930022015-09-16T21:57:17.102+01:002015-09-16T21:57:17.102+01:00I like the dark denim you added to the outside and...I like the dark denim you added to the outside and what it does to the overall quilt.
