We spent 30 minutes on the side of a highway looking for my thimble once. (I have the most patient, kind husband.) Of course, after buying another, he found the original thimble. My response, "As soon as I get a few more stitches in, this guilty feeling will go away." He still laughs about that.<br /><br />You inspired me to create a pieced back for the quilt I'm working on now. It's not so bad! Plus, I used fabric from my overflowing stash, which is a very good thing. I liked the back before quilting, and I imagine that quilting will only make it better.
