A productive week

My finishes, like buses, all seem to come at once.  Of course this is not finished, as it still needs quilting, but the piecing is done.  I learnt my lesson on the left-hand side and didn't try any clever stuff over on the right, just stuck with geese and wedges.  Since we are still in the time frame for the AHIQ playing with scale challenge, please note the change of scale, from big to small geese, and, for that matter, big to smaller wedge-y bits too. I do like to stick to a brief!
Not only that, but it is backed, sandwiched and ready to quilt.  This needs to be done by September and given that I am currently quilting slower than the slowest snail I thought I'd better let it jump straight to the front of the queue.  I've never quilted something straight after I made it before, so it will be interesting to see if I like it.

This piece turned out wonderful! You got the rest of pieced very quickly. I am sure that you can have this quilted in time.

Congratulations on getting the top pieced and I will certainly be curious to hear how you like going straight into quilting it.

I really like how this one turned out. Love all the movement the geese and curves create.

Congratulations Kaja.
Nice contrast and movement. I like the radiating 'spokes'.
Onto the quilting adventure!

I really like how it looks like a quarter circle, and you can imagine the rest of the quarters. It radiates so nicely. It gives a new meaning to drunkard's path.

I can't wait to see it quilted! Since you have a queue, I sort of forget the order of quilting. And it's fun revisit old friends, but this will be quilted--and gone apparently. Please remember to add a nice picture of it on your quilt page. (I love to visit pages of quilts made by blog friends. It's like having your own trunk show that I can attend anytime.)

It has such a wonderful sense of movement. I would like to hear how you like going straight into quilting after finishing the top. I have yet to accomplish that.

This quilt reminds me of a book I'm slowly reading. I remembered about 3 months ago that I had never read "Pilgrim's Progress". The story has a lot of different pathways in it and so does your quilt. Nice finish!
