Not sure how this happened...

...but I'm binding again.

Actually I do know: smaller quilts get finished in less time.  The next one up is a whopper, though, so this may well be my final finish for the year.

Linking up with Kathy for Slow Sunday Stitching today.

The binding is superb. I will be piecing a backing tomorrow, if I get time, then layering it up and basting the quilt sandwich. I'm going through a finishing phase at the moment:)

I see that you sew your binding by hand... Isn't this simple task relaxing and rewarding? :-)

It is always a great feeling to get to the binding! We need those larger quilts too so we just need a bit more patience.

Hi Kaja...I am new to your blog. Do you hand piece your quilts as well as hand quilt? They are so lovely

Please don't speak about the end of the year!! The months seem to have rushed by but you've been busy, like the stripy binding.

You are a no-reply blogger, so I can't respond directly but am hoping you check back here. Good luck piecing your back; it's nice to get things finished up.

Hi Susan, thanks for your comment. I'm sorry I can't respond directly but you are a no-reply blogger. I'm hoping you will check back here. I don't usually hand piece; I have a couple of old Singer machines and I work on those.
