Two Hungry Birds moving along

Not so slow this week, though my Frozen dress-making interlude has probably helped.

Mind you, as the piecing part of my process is definitely happening quicker than it used to I am suddenly, strangely, at risk of having several tops all waiting to be quilted.  This backlog is not something I'm used to, and I find I don't much like the idea.

Since there really isn't a way to hand quilt much faster, maybe slowing down the piecing would be the answer, if it weren't for the fact that I get a bit twitchy when I'm not doing it, as if all the ideas inside my head are scratching away trying to get out.   Alternatively I may just have to get used to things not moving in perfect synchronicity!

In any case, here's where the Birds have got to.

As usual linking up with Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts for Lets Bee Social.

Looking good! Those fabrics are just lovely.

It's funny how you describe yourself without something to do, as twitching is bird-talk over here in England. Such lovely material.

I have that same flow problem. My solution has been to send the biggest ones out to be quilted for me when the pile gets too tall. Good luck finding your solution!

Now see, if they flew south for the winter you'd not work on them till spring and then you wouldn't get ahead of yourself :)

But I think these birds are sticking around :) Enjoy your projects and slow hand quilting :)
